Sushi Date

You know when you say you're off sushi because you're so full you don't think you can eat for the rest of the week? Well.. that promise never lasts long, especially when you're boyfriend loves sushi. Of course, being the food lover that I am, I can never resist a good tempura roll and a bowl of mango and red bean ice cream, despite my claiming to skip out on sushi for a whole year. And let me tell you, a bowl of that ice cream is perfect for days with clear blue skies.

Frenchman's Bay

My family and I decided to take a trip down to Frenchman's Bay due to my mother's sudden craving for the $5 fries [mind you that was quite espensive considering how much we actually got] from their chip truck. While I wouldn't necessarily take a dip in the lake as the power plant is right next to it, the lake and "faux beach" esque scenery allowed for pretty photos, if I do say so myself.
